Quicksilver Messenger Service: Mona. Live concert, bell bottoms, long hair, children running between the musicians. The Dead tried to capture this moment and extend it throughout their career, but never really quite succeeded. This is the real thing, a moment in history.

It was there 5 minutes ago. Great video. I've liked them since I first heard them in Hawaii in 1069. Still have my Happy Trails LP.

Thanks. It is there now -- I got a message that the item was removed earlier. The video reminds me of concerts in Golden Gate Park and in Lincoln Park (Chicago) back in the late sixties. I had Happy Trails too but it is gone with the rest of my vinyl :(

I still have my vinyl Chess, Checker and King records in genuine Mono, (including the original Mona and Who Do You Love by Bo Diddley) as well as my favorite Atlantic, Motown, Stax and Volt Albums and 45's from the 60's. Don't have the turn table set up anymore as they now are easier to listen to in mp3 format. Digital copies of all my favorites fell off the back of the Internet truck on to my computer about 5 or 6 years ago.
