has anyone had experience with the 3t zepp stem? I have heard that there have been problems with them breaking. I have what looks like a new version of the zepp stem. it does not say zepp on it but it looks just like it. it looks like the bolts are steel and the threading on the stem is on holes that are drilled through. Any info is appreiated.

Used them before without a problem. I think some early versions were recalled.
I've been using one with the 3-T 199 bar for four plus years on one of my road bikes with no problems (It has the ti hardware). Neither have I heard of problems associated with it. I weigh around 145 pounds, have a pretty smooth riding style, and climb in the saddle, if that makes a difference. Based on my experience, I'd recommend it.
