my head is nice and shaved.
I did have the sideburns long and bleached white for awhile, and if I may say so, it looked VERY weird.

Shaved head, love it. Of course I'm half bald anyway. Save a lot of money not going to barber shops. Never have helmet or hat hair. Try it.

No, I'm not wearing a hat....I have to be honest though, it's not my natural color. (that's magenta!)
Me, and the people in my life are regularly shaved, mohawked, colored, etc. People really get out of my way when I have a mohawk! :D

There are many choices of colors at Beauty Supply stores - Manic Panic, Punky Color, etc. I've done every color but green (I don't have the right complexion).
What color is your hair naturally? It's hard to get dark hair whitish, at least without getting it professionally done (but even then, good luck). Mine doesn't get any further than yellow.

I never bothered with white, but some of the goth kids i knew had good luck with effasol and then some kind of weird purpley-whitey-tinted manic panic.
I think my hair's been every color but bleached, actually.

the only way to get hair as dark as mine to become bright red, is bleash, ans lots of it. i call it 30 weight (like oil) but its really 30 strength or something and that takes color out in like 10 min. I sware i went from dark drown to white in about 10 mins. your head gets super hot though! this was me a while ago.

I shave my head, but it's more of a genetic thing than fashion.

I have a limited imagination, so I have to ask: What would be the right complexion for green hair ?

I shave my head. I really hate using gel and combs. Also, It is one less thing to think about in the morning when I am 3/4 asleep
i shave my head a 3 on top and a 1 on the sides.. it only costs me $8 plus the place that i get it done has porno.. so.. alls good! :D and then i let it grow out till i start complaining about how hot my head is.
I read an article not too long ago about how the mohawk was a trendy cut (check out your local highschool to see the truth in that). I'd have to say the same for shaved heads, and even mullets since Puck got one on MTV.
I personally prefer to shave my head because I ride or run to work and don't have to worry about goofy looking hair, plus I'm half bald anyway. Now a handful of guys around here shave theirs too. If I could, I'd grow mine long again.
If I could be a teenager again, I'd go with an afro. Plus I'd try to have more sex and learn to play electric guitar.

I go buzzed, personally. Usually about a #1. I actually manage to dye it weird colors at that lenght once in a while, but mostly it's just natural. Life is better not paying for haircuts, though - that much is for sure.

No, during Real World reunion competition. He's married now too.

this was my hair for a loooong time. short all around with a sort of mohawk in the front, then splitting into a bi-hawk in the back. short bits were dyed black, long bits were some sort of poop-brown/red color.
i did "windows XP" hair for a while. where the short parts were electric blue and the long parts were bright green...that was before i did the black/poop-brown color scheme. god damn i loved that haircut. right before i cut it, i used to poof out the long parts in the back and spike up the shorter parts and just let the long parts in the front do what it wanted...it was my "angel of death" (in the FBM bmx hardcore sense, not in the whiney goth kid sense) look. the second, smaller picture kinda shows what i'm talking about...although that was taken right after i woke up one day, so the sideburns were kinda....yeah.
now my hair is dirty blonde and short, with a long chunk in the front. no more lip ring for me. still have the sideburns though...i need money so i can get my lip done again...and more tattoo work.
i miss the old boston me. the new berkeley me is depressed and dumb-looking.

Arright-I know this is an OLD thread (I haven't had orange hair in a long time!), but I've got a question for you wierdos:
Is there anything else besides Punky Color and Manic Panic? Back in the day, the Manic Panic used to stick around on bleached hair until I cut it off. Lately I can't get it to stay longer than a month or so, even if I bleach twice beforehand.
I'm looking for something that'll be around for the long haul, and comes in bright pink. I wash my hair everyday.
Thanks guys!

while I hung out with punks in the 80s, I never understood the juxstaposition between rebelling against socieity and spending an hour a day on their hair. Eh, I'm way too lazy to have a fancy schmancy hair do or hate the man.
i recently have change my doo by not having a harcut in liike 3 months... this will continue until late feb.

If it is... he was my next door neighbor back in 1984.
 :p
I've never had any luck with colors. I could bleach it to yellow, but then it wouldn't take any color. I gave up on color and now I just love to cut it. My favorite is wearing it for months in a conservative, June Cleaver-esque style, then shaving it all off...nobody sees it coming.
It's been about 2 years since my last haircut. :D

you spent it on fun things, right?
I got my head shaved one time in school. I got it done so that there was only a big "X" on the top. I went to a boarding school and was "escorted" back to the barber in question and made to sit there while they finished the job. Then I had to wear my cricket cap until it grew to a "respectable" length. I was told, as were my parents, that if I did it again I'd be expelled. The Queen was visiting the school later in the week. Lord Nelson went to my old school. He ran away :D
that sounds like a school you'd wanna get expelled from. get it cut again! :D

There ya go... that 1000 clams you've saved on DIY hair cuts can be put toward your girlfriends liposuction...
Go buy her a $100.00 book of McDonald's gift certificates today to make sure you get your money's worth when the Doc fires up his Fat Vacuum on her.

good god! i don't know what's less appealing... eating $100 worth of mcdonalds "food" or liposcution. they seem equally unpleasant.
well... lipo is better. mcmadcowdonalds will just make ya senile and shakey.

Left a loooong time ago. Age and nature are conspiring together to ensure that hair cuts will soon become a thing of the past. I'll be using pledge soon instead of gel.

i'll be there too. i already shave my head, but in another 2 1/2 years or so it won't really be optional.
I promised to shave my head if I was able to raise $1000 for the MS Ride.
Decided to have some fun with it.
Like it so much I kept it that way.

Haven't had an haircut for about 14 years, but it's shorter than it used to be. :o Maybe I'll go for it this summer. I've never shaved my mustache in my life. I trim it when I shave the beard once every week or two, usually two.
