oh gawd...I just remembered having the radio on once.:innocent:

not having realized that Handel's messiah had begun (we were preoccupied) it got to the big "Hallelujah" bit just at a particular moment....I'll never listen to that piece the same way again.

in this (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=494838) thread reminded me of my own worst moment in personal music history.

In October of 2001 I was driving to the bank to deposit a check. I was on lunch from college and had Meatloaf's song Life's a Lemon and I Want My Money Back on the stereo.

I was rear-ended by an illegal resident borrowing her friend's car and talking to said friend on her cellphone. Silly teenage-Illegal-cellphone-talking-drivers!

Moving on, I was rear ended and thrown into the guy in front of me. I bounced off him back into the girl who hit me, then back off her into the guy in front. Basically, in about 2 seconds, my car went from a Honda Accord into a Honda Accordion.

So, tell me about your stories!

I was walking to my car and then I saw someone next to mine pulling out and hitting it.

Edit: har har har, that sounds bad.

Hitting it while driving is, indeed, bad... :p

September 18, 1965. During music class, I realized I couldn't tell what note I was singing. Came home and told dad about it, and heard the story of how he was in the placed in the "crows" group at school. My little 1st grade brain somehow understood the genetic implications.

After years of practice, I can play the radio quite proficiently.
