My LWB makes a suicide run for the ditch the second I think of lifting both hands off, but I don't think it's unstable by any means, I can ride it pretty easy.

I'm sure it's possible. But the real question is, does it have any practical application? Is there any real reason to do this?

It doesn't work on my usually stable recumbent, and I won't be doing it with the car either.

Here's my friend Danny of Cycle Genius riding his prototype LWB with no hands. This bike is extremely stable. He rode like this for a quarter mile or so.
