Winter Cycling - 'stealth' glow-in-the-dark bike... (worth a look!!)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I think putting it on the wheels is more than adequate. You can also get black reflective tape here.

Canadian Tire has the tape in the automotive trim section. I think it was $12 for more than enough.

It's not *quite* as bright as the regular silver tape, but I would have been way to vain to put silver reflective tape on my road rims.

you know what is funny?
i have these tires! and i did NOT even know they were THAT reflective!... :innocent:
(they came with my 2004 devinci oslo... i still use them on my 'rain bike' (which is my winter commuter bike without studded tires...)

and thanks for the 'canadian tire' reference... i think i'll spend a couple dollars to change some of the 'orange tape' i currenly have all over (also from canadian tire...) so that my bike looks a little less like a christmas tree...
cheers.

they're not that bright. the camera flash exaggerates the amount of light reflected.
