Dear All,
I am based in Essex and am desperately trying to find out who had our tandem made??? I have a Metalic Lilac Condor Tandem. She was built in 1984, Condor cant help me as their info has been archived...:( we brought it very cheaply from a sort of bike dealer, it was in its original state, 6 speed, still had the condor pedals with the leather straps! and the old spoke wheels with the tyres. The dealer said that the lady had to sell it as they needed the money.
We have changed her by gearing her with a 9 speed and a few go faster wheels and aero handle bars, but we wanted to let the person who had her know that it now has raced for two seasons and managed a British Ladies 10 mile Time Trial Comp Record of 20.01. We just missed the 25 mile by 29 seconds with a 53.39. Mixed tandem 10 at 19.28 and two 50 mile mixed with a 1.47 being our fastest so far. Next season we hope to lead her to victory with a few more Comp Records:thumb: Any info would be great ;)
