Any of you guys interested in joining a group I'm putting together for a go-kart outing at Chicago Indoor Racing - Addison facility.

http://www.chicagoindoorracing.com/

We will be doing the group Grand Prix package, 3-15 lap qualifying races and a 30 lap final race. The cost is $70 each ($10 discount).

Most of the other people I have are pretty hard core so it is fast and "fun". We do expect to young newbies so there will be some fresh meat. Whoever wins will get his name on a plaque.

*This is not typical amusement park go-karts if you haven't been before. It's racing, it's fast, and it's fun: there, it's potentially dangerous and you've been warned ... my conscience is clear. ;)

I am looking at 6PM for those that have not raced before (safety program) and 6:30PM for those who have raced with CIR.

Let me know.

That place is a blast!

Monday is bad for me, though. I just booked a 5:00 appointment.

I have to reschedule. Not only did I have to skip the Bears Packers game, but my wife scheduled a holiday dinner and show and I can't let the kids down.

I have a company meeting monday evening. So I can't make it. But I did buy my son the Junior Racing School for his coming birthday, now that you mentioned the track :)

I drove up at the CIR in Buffalo Grove (or somewhere up that way). It was a blast. Learning the track and getting faster with each go round.

This sounds really fun....I'm pretty sure I could make it but have to check.

Is this for adults only or is this (this = your event) open to 16/17 year olds as well. My son is 16 and, according to the restrictions, could race if I'm there. I need to sign a wavier BUT I would like to see what you were planning.
