Yup, feeling mean again! Get off work at 1:30, to bed at 3 and sleepy time at 4. Woke up about 9, didn't eat but figured I'd do 30 miles in the chill! Down 11 lbs in the last month so the hills were easier than they were last time I was out there. Bad ride prep but the testosterone just pumped me up and over them thar hills! 20 more lbs and I'll be happy!:thumb:

Near Devore, looks cold At temps in the 40's but 80'ish while climbing::D

Do you bring along a personal photographer, or are you like the "survivorman" of biking. Setup your cam and go back for it later?

And, I too want to know how you got those shots? 1 minute timer with a red blinky flasher for timing yourself in the shot?

Whatever, you do good work.

And, I love the title of your post;)

We need to Mcguyver a camera pod for Beanz to mount on hius handle bars. Can you imagine the You Tube vids!

Man, if I had mountains like those I might even eventually learn to not hate climbing so m,uch, lol.

I'd like the McGuyver thingy. I descend been told I descend very well on mtn switchbacks. That camera would be cool!

Oh man, you've gotta start climbing. I guess it's like beer, an acquired taste! so they say! Although I do hate beer!:D

My skinny riding buddy who wants to join this forum, but I keep telling him we do not accept his kind around here, took a 7-Iron and mounted a Pentax W-60 on the club end. He would then lower it down to about even with the front axle and shoot video of himself riding from a really cool angle. He would do the same thing holding it either straight out at a 90* angle, or up high looking down on himself. We have some great clips. He was even able to get both of us in by riding (too) close and holding it out in front.

Food for thought Beanz:ride:

That's a good idea JBoyd! I sort of went for some of those types of shots by lowering my arm to the fork. Butt only thing I get is Gina's hiney but then I have hard time sleeping at night!:D..And I sure aint taking any pics like this of the guys!...Butt I do like the view from the fork, I guess a vid would be cool but my 'puter is old and slow!:(

I'll never be the skinny guy! Back in 04-05, I gave it all I had. Diet and 73000 miles. Best I did was 218. 19 more lbs and I'll be 220 at best. I look skinny to family and friends but to the skinny guy, I'm still the big guy!:D

This is The Beaner at about 220. I can't get much lighter than this!:P

I will be perfectly happy if I ever reach 220! 18 pounds to go! I've been over 200 since I was 14,a swimmer, and riding my bike everywhere! I'l get pics out some day when I can find a wide angle lens! The important thing is to be healthy and happy! You certainly appear to have an abundance of both.
