I was debating if i should go riding or stay in and do work. The weather is wicked nice today so i decided to go for a ride.

I was pumping my front tire when all of a sudden....PPPPSSSSSHHHHHHH. I looked at it and my tire was flat. i was like..WTF..how is that possible!?! Im pumping and pumping it and nothing was happenning. I take off the pump and the valve came off with it. Im thinking to myself..i dont think this part is supposed to be detachable. It was a definite sign from up above NOT TO GO RIDING TODAY.

i feel you man, i went out for a ride today and took a spill 10 feet from the begining of the trailhead. i wasn't paying attention i wasn't sure if i locked my jeep and my front tire slipped into a deep rut, over the bars i go.... damn it. i get about 12 miles into the ride and my front wheel QR comes undone, damn it add 1 more scab for my poor beaten body. i return to my car and notice a new door ding on my drivers side, teach me for parking by a 1970's something beater... oh well not my day but theres always tomorrow

that happened to one of my friends on the trail. We were pumping his tire up and took the pump off and *woosh* all the air left the tire and the valve was nowhere to be seen. It happened later at his house. Seems kind of strange that they come out.

I have finals coming up.. more importantly, one of them is tomorrow morning, and I can't bring myself to study. I just keep looking up bikes that interest me and drool over them. Can't wait to actually buy one and ride the crap out of it in the next few weeks.
