Winter maintenance time. Replaced IRD 11-34 cassette on Co-Mo speedster for Shimano 11-27 and want to replace inner chainring with smaller for similar gearing. I can't seem to find any info about how to remove the FSA Gossamer tandem crank. FSA website not helpful. Can anyone point me to a step by step, or can you give me the basics? Probably pretty basic stuff but I'm still learning to do my own maintenance.
Thanks,
CG

Great! Thanks. Got it apart. Getting ready to put back together and noticed that there are small washers on each side. The one stayed in place, but the other came off and I think it may have been rubberized or had some sort of sealant on it, but it abraded off. Should I use as is or replace?

THanks again.

Washers are washers. Just be attentive to the torque specs.

Hi,

I think it is a metal spacer/washer that is coated with a rubber like, blue material.
We had one mechanic puzzled over this when our tandem was new. Not sure what it was.
