Bicycle Mechanics - Question re chainring on cervelo

Hello,
I just got a cervelo r3 and think I need to change the stock front chain ring because I'm to weak to power it up steep hills otherwise. Is there a guide to what kind of chain rings are compatible to change?
Thanks

If you have 53/39T chainrings you could change it to a compact crankset with 50/34T chainrings. A cassette change with a large cog of 27T would not make as much difference to the bottom gear but would be a lot cheaper. You could also make both changes.
