Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - why can't i post a new thread on certain pages?

Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am relativly new to this site and I am confused as to why I cannot post threads on certain pages of this site. I get the message that I do not have permission to access that page but I do not understand why?

Some of the forums (Marketplace, etc.) require a paid membership in order to post. If you are trying to access the Politics & Religion forum, you need to request permission in order to post.
