Anybody ever had some wheels built using these guys? They have a set of wheels that would rival the american classic 350s in weight but they claim to use a more real 'everyday' rim. Anybody ever used the rim? www.oddsandendos.com (http://www.oddsandendos.com) Click on road wheels, the wheels I am talking about are the bottom two.

The rim is the IRD Cadence: http://interlocracing.com/rims.html

I'm also trying to find out if they are as good as they seem.

I have not personally rode Mike Garcia wheels but know a good number of guys who have and do. He builds quality stuff and stands behind his work both in the form of crash replacement and warranty work. He used to sell his own version of the American Classic 350 wheelset. One guy I race with uses a pair as race only wheels and loves them.

Mike (oddsandendos.com) posts on a number of cycling boards under the user name "Bianchi4Me" and is very well regarded by most. My suggestion would be to give him a call and talk about your application and what you need. He'll be very straight forward with you and set you up with a great set of wheels and an even better price.

Good Luck

oddsandendos said that the ird cadence rim is built with the same material in the same factory as the am.classic 350. Im really hoping these are good wheels. Nice and light and a great price.
