So I'm planning on selling my old single-speed and I'm trying to figure out what kind of frame it is (it had already been spay-canned matte black when I got it, head badge missing). My strong suspicion is that it's a Schwinn Tempo, but I thought I'd run it by BF to confirm.

Serial: A732126 (someone out there can probably nail it with this alone)
Tubes: Columbus Tenax TRE TUBI RINFORZATI
Color: Sparkly pink (sigh)
Fork: Steerer tube is a Tange 6L Made In Japan, and I suspect it came stock judging from the paint.

There are also the numbers 840 on the bottom bracket shell between the chain stays.

The reasons I suspect that it's a Schwinn are:
1. The exposed original paint on the head tube where the badge was is round, as is the Schwinn logo.
2. I know a lot of Tempos in the 80 used the Tenax.

Thoughts?

This really belongs in the Classic & Vintage subforum, as the frame has nothing to do with single speed or fixed gear knowledge. And good luck!
