Hi. I'm new to road biking. This is my first road bike, that I bought today.

You probably get questions like this all the time, but I was looking for some help with the fit. I haven't taken it for a proper test, but the short test I did left my lower back sore. I'm not in the greatest position on the bike, due to having to lean on the post.. But if any one can suggest something, I'd be grateful.

I have a feeling that the seat might be too far back, but I'm not sure.

Thanks.

I dunno about you fit but I'd check how you have it locked up. Looks like a hobo may have stolen it.

On a more serious note I know very little about the fitting but I doubt many people will be able to help from those photos. Look at some of the other fitting threads and try and get a similar set of pics.

Yeah, I was thinking they aren't very good. I don't have a trainer, so I have to lean on something. If anyone can suggest how i could get a better picture, please don't hesitate.

Can you get someone to hold up your bike? Seems like the simplest solution to me. Either than or yea, just find something to lean against (but lean with both hands on the bars).
