I have a trusty 2003 Gary Fisher Tassajara that I use daily and want to upgrade to a Thudbuster LT seatpost.

Does anybody know what the seat post diameter is on that model bike? The markings are worn off my Bontraeger stem (well used!) and I can't tell.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Most of the GF's I've run into and the one's I've owned were 27.2. I do suggest going to a Home Depot or a Lowes etc. and buying a cheap 10 dollar caliper measuring tool.. Great for a lot of those questions on home bike stuff.

I dont know if this will help you, but my 96 Fisher and 07 Fisher use the same size. So in other words, it seems they have been the same size for years, 27.2 is what you want.
