Tolt you I'd post pics in the forum. I payed $700 back in 96 or 97. Might have been the last year before they started making the frame in Taiwan. This frame says Italy. Dedaccia cro-mo tubing. Very smooth and fast bu too smal for me and Gina has too many others. I believeit's a 53 cm. Gina rode it at 5'4 which is our same height. But the standover is 31 inches. Not sure if you can straddle easy enough. If not, you may still be able to ride it! I thought it had eyelets for a rack but it don't.:(

7 speed, triple but the spacing is wide enogh so that it can be upgraded to 8, 9 maybe even 10 speed since it's abouthe same size. But it would be expensive so best to keep it at 7 unless you've got a large cycling budget.:D..36 spoke wheels on Ambrosio rims. Has held my weight on a few rides no problem. But no problem, if the wheel gives, I can rebuild it for you no problem.

I have this comfort saddle that is similar to the one on your current bike. If it doesn't rain on Sunday, we will meet for a ride on the trail. If you like it, it is yours "free to good local home". I say local cause I have had a few offers from others in other states but I don't ship!

I did offer it to bud once, trying to do him a favor after he asked for a roadie. But he wasn't happy with the bike, he wanted my Lemond...YEEEEEAH RRRRRIGHT!..I told you the story.

Thought about giving it to another person but was warned that this person would more than likely sell it at a yard sale. don't think so! I've seen you out there riding. You've made an effor to improve and enjoy your cycling. If ther is one person that I would wis to have it, it would be you! Someone that would enjoy the thing and actually ride it:thumb:

I have the seat, it's yours too unless you want the race saddle that's on it. I also have a Terry stem that might raise the bars a little bit and is shorter, easier on the reach. But I'd like to make sure you can ride it before I attempt removing the tape and tearing apart the bars and stuff.

If you are interested, let me know, I will bring some tools and we'll try to set it up for you. Heck, ride it all day. Alone if you like or we could could bring the mtb's and cruise with you incase any problems should arise. Shouldn't but what if you flat again?:D

If you like it, take it home. I think you'd be doing a century soon after!

I think she'd appreciate the bike! She's done great as far as cycling. One of the few I expect to see out there in the cold, wind, not so fair conditions. Much tougher than many of the others with the fancy rigs. I know she has her comfort bike, rolling along the trail with her camera and all. But I think with this bike, she'd easily cover 50 miles of sightseeing rather than 25. Do a local organized century. Maybe kick a few arses along the way!:D... Darn, she's just do danged competitive!:p

Nah! he deserves it! One of the more dedicated cyclists I know. Good personality, sense of humor and she did babysit Gina once when she was not feeling too good in the heat while I fetched the truck. Plus she laughs at all my stupid jokes!:D

Ah, another Girl meets Bike/Bike meets Girl happy ending. Just like it ought to be.

It's a great bike, you should get many many happy miles out of her.

Well, incase you missed the thread. here it is along with a few pics of Condorita on the bike. Well, what we saw of her before she dropped us!:D Nearly 30 miles on the first ride!...On a windy day, with no shoes on, in the snow. Well, it was windy!:p..I see a century in the near future if that was a testride!:thumb:

Nice Condolady!:thumb:...Not sure if you heard but one of the riders at the Honda Center rest stop pointed at your bike and said,"that's a NICE bike". Didn't even pay attention to my bike!

I think it has to do with the steel and lugs. We've gone to bikeshops before with Gina's celeste Bianchi on the rack. Workers would walk out, look at it then offer compliments!:D
