Get ready for the second annual
"Great Southwest Bicycle Swap Meet".
DATE: January 11th (Sunday)
LOCATION: Tarrant County Resource Connection, Bldg 2300, TCC Southwest Campus
ADMISSION: FREE to the PUBLIC

They've also added the "Crossaholics Last Call For Cyclocross". A cycle-cross race at the same location on the same day. Come out and purchase some needed/wanted/collectible items, or simply hang-out with a bunch of cyclists and catch a cycle-cross race too!

Looks like a good excuse to get out of the house. :)

The odds of me attending this are very high. Looking forward to it!

Is there secure bike parking?

I would think so, but even if not, I'll probably just walk around with my bike in tow.

Temps in the 50s; I plan to ride there from my house. I should get out of church by 11, probably be there by about noon. I'll most likely be on the Dumpster Queen, a teal and gray Raleigh Marathon:

Well that was fun. I only watched the cyclocross briefly. That might be something I want to try someday. I got my fixie fix from thehappyrobot; I think I got everything I need to make my poor-man's fixie out of my old Schwinn World Sport. I also picked up a few other things I wanted, mostly for my Raleigh Marathon- a kickstand, a seat, some aerolevers for the brakes. All in all, quite a bargain.
