Decided to clean up an old Giant ATX chro-mo frame and convert it to SS on the cheap. Outside of the BB spindle being a little longish, it's looking pretty clean. Got the front brake calipers today and will get it built up tonight. God bless being a pack rat with old bike parts; I had an easy time getting a variety of cogs and plenty of spacers to let me use my existing 8 speed free hub body. A little sanding on the frame to get rid of some surface rust and she'll be ready to ride. Now if it will just dry out a little here, I'll be ready to ride the second 1x1 addition to the stable. Pics to come sometime after I get around to taking them.
