Anyone else read the "about page"?

The bike is a colaboration of a graphic designer, a furniture designer, a product designer and an advertising agency.

If I wanted a bike from people who know nothing about bikes I'd just go with bikesdirect...

Yes I think to that the look is nice and clean! And the cranks are way to ugly! I am changing the whole package with some high end stuff. Keeping only the frame.

The crancks will be this beauty...

OK so you're saying that graphic, furniture and product designers can not be bicycle riders..?

Great!!

They are hard to get all over the world. The only way to buy one is to send an e-mail on the website.

Believe me they're wort it. Of course they dont have the hottest components but that is easy to change if that is a big problem.
I'm planning to make it into a cool fixie. But all I wanted on this topic was to see if there was any other ALTA bike owners on here...

Here's some pics of my other fixed gear bikes!

This is a 1984 Motobecane.

And my 1990 Miyata Team bike.

what is so good about them? looks like a pretty bland aluminum frame with super budget components. aluminum fork, from the looks of it too. painful.

also, i recommend toe straps of some form.

Like I told you: A jewel of a bike...

But never mind how the bike looks or what super budget the components are. I am just looking for other owners. I know there is a few out there...
