My back hurts from shoveling too...but it's not from lifting the snow it's from my wife backing the car into me as I was trying to get the snow pile from the end of the driveway. I did not have to explain the danger of using a cell phone while driving, I demonstrated it.

As for shoveling I use the wait till it melts theory. I just have to gas it real good when backing out ;) . Later.

Me, too. I hate to tell you that my last good day was Colorchange's party. If you've got the flu that I've got, it's a long siege. However, I find that everything knocks me down longer since I've passed 45 :(regarding recovery.
I'm still in bed.....and not having fun !!!!!

Yup...i'm sick too...meant i'm sick of this icy crap lately that has grounded most of us from getting the bike out since the dreaded ice storm and all the little snow systems as of lately. Only time i've been really sick was in late september for a couple days otherwise i've escaped the flu bug so far.
Hope most of us can get on the bike soon. Have a merry xmas!!!

I was out this evening and it actually wasn't that bad. With a sloppy coating of snow over all the ice (here, anyway), I hopped on the mountain bike and went for a roll. I was running about 30 psi in the tires and didn't have any problems.

Merry xmas. I am not sick but a bit on the "low" and i haven't been on the forum since, wow, late summer.
I hope you all feel better and get in shape for a new year/season. Until then, i'll play the Guitar Hero World Tour video game set that i got for xmas from a college buddy.
