When a co-worker states that they spent $15,000 on a Harley, you comment "That's nuts! You could buy two or three nice bicycles for that!"
LOL!

I have actually and seriously contemplated if clipless pedals would be a good idea for a race car. And yes, many of those hold true. I sleep not two feet away from my bike, I judge how much water I am getting by my urine color, and finally, I already have two chainring scars on my right calf, hoping for more:D

The thing about drafting the semi really rang true. I have started to drive like I ride, and this is probably not too good. my gas milage has really improved though...

Anybody ever catch themselves let off the gas pretty far from a redlight hoping you'll time it perfectly so you wont have to unclip? I keep doing that. The whole driving a car up a hill and wondering the gradient hits REAL close to home!

"When you can't imagine spending 10 bucks to see a movie with your spouse/significant other, but you have no problem spending 100 bucks to save three grams"
You know what time -exactly- you have to leave your house to catch the fewest red lights on your way to work.

These 'roadies' seem to drive cars a lot.

Being a cyclist doesn't mean one can't be a driver too. I am a little bit annoyed with the attitude that being pro-bike means one has to be anti-car... as if being against something lends more credibility to being for the other.
