There are a number of Southern Tier journals on crazyguyonabike.com (http://www.crazyguyonabike.com) including a number that are enroute right now. Go to the site, click on journals, then region, then USA, then Adventure Cycling - then click the route that interests you. To go directly to a list of Southern Tier journals, click here (http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/journal/?pics=small&category_id=11)

If you have questions for the authors you can post a question in his or her guestbook.

I just borrowed The Great Bicycle Caper from my library. It's a southern crossing done by a fellow in his sixties. So far it's been a lot of fun. Not finished reading yet.
