I can find lots of great pics on home built extracycles. I can find whee to spend a gazillion bucks for one already built. Where do I find a how to build one yourself site? A site with details and how to start and what to look for?, pit falls and ideas?

Thanks

I`we been thinking of making a description, but we are talking weeks of work. You need to spend some time searhing this forum, the MAKE Blog and so on. When I started making longtails there was not much to find, and I spent hours and days searching. Just in the Utility frum there is plenty info.

One of the biggest , and most ignored, facts about "homebuilts" is safe structural engineering.

Just cobbing together a couple of bike frames don't get it..safely. Ya gotta understand ,and apply,
sound engineering principals or you're gonna be a kamakzi death rider for sure.

Did you ever see one, or ride one? We do more work on them and more miles on them than is posted here.
