Northern California - Merry Christmas everyone!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'll be riding my new trainer! I finally got fed up with the weather ... my Christmas present to me, and it arrived yesterday. Almost time for a nice spin.
Merry Christmas to all ... God Bless us every one!

Happy holidays, all.
No schwag at all, but then again, we weren't expecting anything. Mostly, small stocking stuffers. Only schwag I got this year was myself driving to Gilroy on Black Friday. :D

Merry Christmas!
Our kids are still asleep so our gifts are yet to be opened. CGallagh made me open one of mine -- a Sony cyber-shot camera! Whoo-hoo! Now I can back up my stories with "pics, or it didn't happen." The battery may take all day to charge but it'll be ready for our post-Christmas ride tomorrow.
Cold, windy and rain-showery here so later I may get on the new Kurt Kinetic trainer we bought each other. It comes with a Coach Troy DVD so I can finally discover the answer to "Who is Coach Troy, and what is the love/hate relationship people have with him?"
I hope everyone's having a wonderful day!

Merry Christmas!
My best gift this year is my wife's rapidly growing passion for cycling.
So I got her some good cycling swag.
11-34 IRD (http://www.interlocracing.com/cassettes_steel.html) road cassete installed on her bike with its 50/39/30 triple so she fears no hill.
Gator neoprene helmet liner
Calien toes neoprene toe covers

Merry Christmas ALL!
No bike schwag here either.
What I did get is the complete opposite of cycling. A shiny new PS3.
Maybe if I get a trainer to go along with it I can do both at the same time.

No bike swag, though my daughter got me a non-cycling water bottle with that "Life is Good" bike drawing on it.
But, lots of love and fun and warm clothes, so it's a big win all around.
My Dad gave me cash, so it may be going into converting my very old 70s bike into a single/fixie. I gotta research what i can get a flip-flop hub for.
I ended up staying in the Bay Area rather than deal with constant open/closed Highway 80 near the summit updates. Snuck in a nice 25 mile ride this afternoon. Very windy along Foothill but it tamed once I started climbing Page Mill.
Merry Christmas, good people of NorCal.
Since I previously got my early Santa drivetrain upgrade, today I got some jerseys and "cycling socks" - not sure what the difference is with those anyhow. I've come to realize that you can never have enough jerseys.
Looking forward to trying to sneak in some dry miles tomorrow.

Went for a ride up hwy 9 to test out my new ipod touch. Found my white christmas at the top of hwy 9 and Skyline Rd. Got snowed on for the last .5 mile.:thumb: Pretty cool day. The road was full of debris from the winds.
Almost forgot the schwag, Mi Newt X2 Dual light system to go with my single Mi Newt. Also got a new pair of the Specialized roadie glass's.
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas all! :)
Had a cold & windy 30-mile ride today. Was still nice to get out though. :thumb:

Merry Christmas! Norcalers! Got in an easy 40 mile ride up to Woodside and back. There weren't many cyclists out there today. I counted less than 40 total. It didn't start to rain until I was about 4 miles or so from home. So not too bad! At least there's less guilt for the big Christmas dinner plus it felt good to be on the bike again. (I hadn't done any riding since last Saturday.)
