Mountain Biking - Santa was rad this year....

He had the gnar division in the north pole whip up a little something for the smallest hambone. The weather was perfect and so we got in a great session on the new ramp at the Hambone residence. I swear that lil' Hambone can ride anything with wheels he was boosting a razor scooter and learning crazy fast on the skateboard. The girlscout gave the new ramp a nice trashing on the Voodoo. A great time was had by all.After not being on a board since the days of Tony Alva ,Stacy Peralta and the Bones Brigade, Old '66 still has a few old school skills.

I agree. Santa was rad. Mine came in the form of parts this year... a Boone cog/ring, new XT cranks, and a King BB to be exact... plus a little extra shot of my brothers new brooks temporarily on my track bike... his bike got left at school for the break.

I skated in the days of Animal Chin...good times. First nice board was a Jinx...then a Gator. Dang Lance Mountain was a NUTBAR!!

I quit skating after all the boards looked like weeners and everyone was doing 360flips and hardflips.

Heck yes,I sredded the local 1/2 pipe on a Gator. Also had a nice Dogtown/Gullwing setup. Dog town and Z boys gives me flashbacks. Thats my teen years on film.

Little hambone flipped out this morning when he saw the new addition to our driveway. He fell on the floor, then jumped up shouting, "out of my way, hippies" as he ran past us to get to his new skateboard. Much thanks to Santa (66) for building the beast. It was a blast watching 66 playing with little hambone.

AAAAAAND, most of the parts weren't very expensive either. I <3 my LBS.

Santa gave me a good gift this year.
A park TS-2 with rotor truer dial, rotor truing tool and spoke wrenches and a dishing tool.

Santa leaving me with a lot of good gifts that I'll be using for the rest of my life.

Nice job Hambone and '66. I have a couple of nephews that are young, and watching them get excited about gifts is sooo much fun.

It was reallly fun to talk to the lil'hambone talk about how much he wanted a ramp. On day two he's already getting close to several flip tricks off the top. He'll be amazing by spring.

Ya know...there has been talk about the slamming-of-the disc truing tool and the disc truing stand attachment b/c you can use a crescent while it's on the bike and get similar results...

...but there's also something really cool about having the proper tools for the job. I'd totally use it.

I agree, that's the first time I see what the full kit is all about and I wouldn't turn it down either.

To the OP, very nice of you. The Hambone men are lucky to have such a great Santa visit them this Christmas.

I've used crescent wrenches before and the results aren't as good as using the tool because you can dial in how far the rod comes in contact with the rotor.

That is a super sweet tool, But this thread is about Lil' Hambone, You hippies
