Northern California - Solvang Spring Double Century

Hey all,
I'm thinking about doing the Solvang Double Century in Spring again. Registration is open for this ... it's not the first double of the year, but it's a great double to kick off the double season. I did it in '07 and it was great.

So who's in?

It is a lovely ride and a good first double. It was my first in 2006 - great scenery, nice roads.

I'm going to sign up instead for the Davis 300K. It's only a little bit shorter than Solvang - Solvang is 193 miles:) and closer to home, so I don't need a hotel.

I'm heavily interested....but not sure when to commit just yet. I'm anticipating a busy next 3 months with work, so am a bit apprehensive about potential lack of fitness by the time 3/28 rolls around.

It's starting in Buellton this year then riding through Solvang.
