Hello NorCaler's! :)
Most of you probably don't know me as I post mostly in Foo but I'm here now soooo Hi!
I'm heading to San Francisco for a few days from Jan 6th to the 11th. Was wondering if anyone wanted to meet up for a drink or a ride or something? Recommend places to see and such and whatnot.

Also looking for info on the symphony and whether or not they have student rush tickets available? Couldn't find anything but a 'student subscription' on their website. Peculiar.

If you're bringing your bike, SF is cycling heaven. Which days will you be planning on riding? Saturday the 10th?

There doesn't seem to be much going on with the SF Symphony (http://www.sfsymphony.com) during your visit. If you can stay longer, our own MsIncredible will be playing on Sunday, Jan 18th with the Symphony Parnassus (http://www.symphonyparnassus.org/index2.htm).

Well, I have a few 57cm bikes laying about. If you make it over to the east bay, let me know.

It would be great to stay a bit longer but I'm flying out to SLC from San Francisco on the 11th!

Every bike I see is a fixie or singlespeed. Comments?

Go north south or east and you'll see roadies...until you hit Davis then you'll see Roadies, Fixies, and mass students on Walmart bikes on the verge of killing each other in traffic circles. The fixie/singlespeed thing caught on and hit hard in the bay area.

Every bike I see is a fixie or singlespeed. Comments?People in San Francisco are just cool, as is evidenced by their choice of bicycle. The surrounding areas are full of unwashed masses yearning for derailleurs.
