Georgette Fry does an amazing and more traditional version of "I'd Rather Go Blind" but I'll be damned if I can find it anywhere online...

She is also our way of apologizing for Celine Dion.

I was playing this over and over in my car the past two days. The whole Inside of Emptiness album was great, but this was the highlight.

Where's the metalcore & screamo?

Anyways, pretty much anything by Enigma is a good song. Probably one of the best musical project groups ever.

Wow...that's a blast from the past! Richard Farina was also a noted novelist, friend of and admired by Thomas Pynchon.

That brings to mind a favorite artist...another folkie, Phil Ochs:

Been Down So Long It Looks Like Up to Me is one of my all time favourite
books, must have read it a dozen times when I was in college, in fact my final paper
was on that book (for a lit class on satire).
So, can we bring in Ian and Sylvia? early Lightfoot? Tom Paxton and PP&M?

this is another one that's high on my play list and rather unknown in the states. In the UK its a bit
overplayed and over tired.

Hello! I joined your forum because it seems to be reach in information and that's exactly what I need now.
I'm searching for a video. It was presented on Romanian television about 2 or 3 years ago but it hasn't become very popular so I haven't heard it again. Here is all I can tell you about that video:

The singer was a man about 45. He was riding a bike on a country road and singing in English but he isn't an English/American native (his accent is a little strange).
The verses were very poetical and also a little philosophic. He was saying something like :" I can feel you... in every thing..." - but I'm not sure about these words.
As he was riding the bike and singing, he passed between some trees and looked at their branches. Then he passed next to a young woman who was walking in the same direction. They smiled at each other and then he passed away. :commute:
The music was slow but not very.
I think the singer rode his bike all the time in that video.

I love that song. I have it in my mind and want so much to find and listen it again.
If there is anybody who knows who is the singer/ name of the song, please help me with some information.

Thanks
