In the interesting fact page in the local campus newspaper, it said that there is a 1 in 2 chance that an American will live within 50 miles of where they grew up. Just chew on that for a while, and you should see the humor.
I'll let you know as soon as I grow up. :)

Ugh, don't remind me... hopefully I'll change that for a while soon... I don't want to be on that side of the statistic.

I was more refering to the implication of the statistic, rather than the stat itself. It is saying that there is a 1 in 2 chance, meaning that they either will or won't live within 50 miles. It is a completely useless stat for that reason, and I thought that it was kinda funny that anyone would waste their time collaborating the information.

yes it may be a useless stat but interesting none the less.
What did they do for the people that grew up all over the place I wonder. I've lived in almost each area of the US (except the South East) and I'm 16. Hrmmm.

I thought you were referring to the point that 100% of Americans will live exactly where they grow up. Show me one that has figured out how to live elsewhere.
