My god, I didnt post this in the roadie thread or I would be banned because they are so helbent on weight over there but dayum! Im stuff and I have gained at least 7 pounds this week!

Anyone else feel guilty for killing it all week? I told myself I wasnt going to but when moma rolled out the gravy biscuit and eggs yesterday, I was like screw the scales !!!!!!!!!

lol

Ive done this before, at 5 pounds gained, it will take me 7 full days of watching the intake and riding the rollers do get it back off. I think to myself, hey, self, you were 195 pounds when you got married in 1997, now, you are 180, go ahead and kill it, it will be ok.

I hear you! But it's the holidays so I'm not to hard on myself. The cookies and sweets are killing me this
year. Jan. 1st sugar is outta my diet. Oh I added 10 lbs between the foot of snow (no riding), a cold (no working out), and food and booze!

Why would I feel guilty about eating good food?????

Good food is...good.

Riding a bike so I can go eat whatever I want.

Eating whatever I want so I can go ride a bike.

I'm with scrub on this. Eating good food is one of the great pleasures in life and I don't deprive myself. That doesn't mean I overdo things, I just don't worry too much.

I've gained about 6 pounds since the "main" cycling season, leaving me a still-skinny wimp, but there's nothing wrong in eating really good food.

I don't worry about it. I ride because I love it. One of the many benefits of that is weight loss. When I'm riding less during the winter, I just keep eating how I want. I gain a few pounds, I'll lose it soon.
