I took a few days off of my bike over the holiday weekend, except for a 5 mile fire road ride on easter. I started the daily commuting back up yesterday, and I have been dogging! I have to coast more than usual, and I am out of breath a lot easier! Craziness.

it's probably better for your body to rest once in a while anyway. i feel that way when i'm getting back on the bike, but it's normally only a couple of rides before i'm back to where i was.

Your body needs a rest. In the long run it will help both physically and mentally.
