Surprisingly, there are a lot of people around who have difficulty with spelling and grammar. They tend to not frequent forums such as this because if they do have the courage to post something, they are quickly shot down by the spelling / grammar volunteer police force.

Even though I'm a fair speller, I think I could give it up for a nice Cervelo like that one!!!

Why was this thread started? This is a cycling forum, not a spelling or grammar forum?

The gramer and spelling are related in that it was an auction for a bike.
I get annoyed at mistakes like that, when they are so prevelant. Spelling I'm not that big on, I try, but am not the best speller. Grammer is another story though; phew that was a thinker to read. To the comment that they get flamed so much for spelling and using the wrong grammer. I'd wish they'd stay on after getting flamed and eventually correct their mistakes. I'd love to be able to have a decently structured conversation with the majority of the world. It does not seem like it will happen though. One thing I will say, the majority of the people on here use the correct grammer and spelling, which makes it nice.

I think people lose respect for others who don't use proper grammar - until they get comfortable with the ESL situation. In this ebay auction, I wouldn't bid (even if I wanted to) for fear that something would get horribly miscommunicated in the transaction. Ebay is scary enough as it is.

I didnt post it for the sole reason of making fun of him, i thought it was funny because who in their right ****ing mind would send this guy any money or bid on the bike period.
