Bicycle Mechanics - Looking for cheap replacement frames...

I found this 6061 Aluminum Mountain Bike Cycle Frame 17" on ebay for cheap. I wanted a cheap frame to replace the frame on my rockhopper. the current frame on my rockhopper is way too big for me. so i'm check with you guys to see if this is a decent frame.

it's probably not bad. i wouldn't mind one of those if i could get it cheap. a tad heavier than other Al hardtail frames i've seen but i'd still ride one.

I'd be weary about it, never heard of that brand, never seen any pictures of any built up. Ask questions and if you get a typical template response, keep on emailing or calling about it.

yeah right now, i've ask questions about the frame but thus far i know for sure that i would need to change a different seat post, because it's 27mm and my rockhopper is 29.4mm. i wondering if the steering column part will fit.

the way i figure is.. if i get it and swap all the parts over it.. i can sell the rockhopper frame and paint this frame to the color of my choice.

another one i am looking at is the S-work frame.. so i know that should fit perfectly between the two.

Surprisingly, try your LBS. All of the shops in my area have frames lying around. Dont be surprised at what they may have.

humm.. never thought about that. i just wanted to swap the my current 20.5" rockhopper frame to another 17" specialized frame.
