Hey Gang,

I am about 6'2" x 260 or so. I am giving up on my old favorite bibs: Sugoi RS Flex. The 2XL fits great and they are pretty comfortable but only seem to last 1 season or so. Given the cost I expect better durability. I wash them after every ride and hang dry. The pads start to come unwelded after 6 mos or so and I find them unusable within a year.

Have read a bunch of posts on Aero Tech bibs and think I will give them a shot. Has anyone here used both Sugoi RS and Aero techs? Trying to determine what size in Aero Tech is comparable to 2XL in the RS Flex. Any insight would be appreciated.

thanks, Jeff

Sounds like a warranty problem to me. Have you contacted the manufacturer?

We're about the same size so I know what a pain it is to find cycling clothes that fit..

In any event, for my bib's I have gone to the Pearl Izumi Slice Ultrasensor bib in XXL. Great fit, comfortable and hold up very well.

For me, I am looking for a "club fit" (loose) sleeveless jersey if anyone has any ideas.

I don't have the Sugoi, but the Aero Tech sizing is spot on compared to the size clothing I typically wear. I have had 2 pair of their bibs that are in a rotation with another manufactures and mine have last over 2 years now and I actually like Aero Tech's better. I have also been using them at the YMCA when I go as they are so comfortable.
