Can anyone point me to 100K to 200K events in the Pacific Northwest?
The BC Randonneurs have a few 100K's in the early season and then 300K+ thereafter. Not quite up to 300-1200K just yet.
Please post links to shorter events.
Thanks!

We (BC Randonneurs) have the spring populaires -- Vancouver Island, then mainland -- with 25 (Mainland), 50 and 100km options. Then the "official" series begins with the Vancouver Island 200, on April 11. Recheck the schedule pages.
Also have a 60k New Year's ride in Vic.

Check out the bicyclepaper.com website, they have links to a bunch of bicycle clubs here in the northwest and the clubs usually have event info. Also Click on the Green PNW tour guide, it is an adobe file and it has tons of rides listed from last year which will give you lots of ideas and contact info

Thanks for the pointer to bicyclepaper.com. Great site and lots of info. Seems like they should be publishing their 2009 guide in January.
I also have a son with Type 1 diabetes. Any more info on the Tour de Cure? Does the CDA run a comparable program in BC? Can Canadians enter the US event?
Thanks

Check out http://diabetes.org/tour for info on the Tour de Cure. There is one in Redmond this coming May,CliftonGK1 and I will be there! I would imagine that anyone can enter an Event here in the US. You may find a TdC in B.C., I dont know. Australia has one!
Take care of that boy!
Forgot about the Biking bis site! Good one ClifftonGK1!

+1
Bikingbis does a great job maintaining a rides calendar, especially strong for Oregon and Washington. He keeps all the dates up to date, and still has all the 2008 dates on his site you can guesttimate when the '09 rides will be.
He also has a great list of many, many cross-state rides from across the US.
