I commute to and from work in San Francisco and I would like to buy a headlight with a strength of about 150-200 lumens. Part of my ride is along a relatively well-lit urban street (Polk Street, for those familiar with SF), but part of it is through darker neighborhood streets (Cow Hollow and the Marina), where I can't really see cracks in the pavement or possible slick spots on the road. I'm considering the Niterider MiNewt X2 (http://niterider.com/prod_minewtx2.shtml), the Dinotte 200L-AA-S (http://store.dinottelighting.com/shared/StoreFront/default.asp?CS=dinotte&StoreType=BtoC&Count1=388897120&Count2=306037545&ProductID=2&Target=products.asp), and the Light and Motion Stella 200L (http://www.bikelights.com/info.asp?uid=225&p=13). I've searched the forum and have read various things people have posted about these lights, but I'm a relative noobie (this will be my first serious headlight purchase -- I'm currently using a CatsEye blinkie), and these lights all seem pretty similar to me. Any thoughts on how to select a headlight from among these options would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
