Wife came home with mail. To wit: Mayo mail. That is: the Mayo Book mail. Let me first say, I suck.

165:48:16 spent a chunck of time taking some awesome photo's. So did Whit, and one other person.

Mayo wrote the stories. You've read them. Well, all but one.

165 also was confidant, and friend.. making sure I was cool and thinking with me to make sure it came out decent. Not just his supernatural knowledge of what was perfect photo wise.... but giving me **** when I was needing it. I owe you. And you know how I am about carrying a load.

Mayo for agreeing to letting me collect it and push it out. I owe you. The words speak. Instead of me, ahead of me.

But aside from those folks above. This has turned out to be much cooler than could have ever anticipated. I'm an ******* around here manytimes. Taken some shots at people, called names, made fun of, the list goes on and on and on. I've earned the contempt of most folks here on many levels, political, idealogical, religous, or even bike wise.

The side bits. The thoughts. The... (looking for a word than can't found) feeling...
What?
An envelope filled with enevelopes so that mailing cost wouldn't add up.
A hand full of stickers.
A very lenghty CD that has been played once through, and will be played through many times before forwarding on.
Notes: hand written, scribbled on buisness cards, printed.. All with something decent to say.
Every single one a thanks of some kind.

I suck because it's all the inner beauty and the realness of the interior feelings of people that are more talented, more eloquent, and more able to express things that I have trouble even understanding that I feel. I suck because as much as I've ****ing worked to earn the contempt of many people here, they've sent notes anyway. Comments I don't merit, and haven't earned.

And perhaps it's the 2/3's of Charles Shaw' 2001 Merlot I've consumed while PM/Emailing updates, but.

I'm humbled by it all. And perhaps, just perhaps I've learned that people are something beyond what I imagine them to be.

Thanks. This glass of really average but extremely affordable Merlot's for you.

(And also to Joe Gardner, who runs this place and made the unmeeting of all our minds possible, you rock Joe.)

now I'm feeling warm AND fuzzy.

They've got lotions for that kind of stuff. And sprays too, so I'm told.

And of course, asprin for this headache I've got this morning.

Charles Shaw, 2001 Merlot. A bit dry, hints of berry and central valley fertilizer, but, really after the first glass, it's, well cheap wine.

Hair of the dog? Sounds like something you take to increase your fiber intake.

You unknowingly and unselfishly inspired us with your drive to step up and make something of a situation that we all knew needed to be done. Thus, you are most certainly deserving.
