Looking for opinions. I am looking to get a new road bike in the next week or so. I have been looking at the new Lemond, $1300 full Ultegra. I also have an opportunity to buy a New 2000 S-works, full Dura-ace for just a bit more $. Thoughts? Is the older bike still worth it?

I have a 2001 S-Works and love it. However, if I were in your shoes I'd probably go with the new Lemond for the simple reason of the frame warranty. There isn't that big of a difference on the conponents. I'm not sure if there is a big difference between the frames, since they're both alum. I haven't ridden the Lemond, but my S-Works is very fast. It's not the most comfortable ride, but that they can fly. So, you just need to decide how important it is to you to have the warranty.
