Long Distance Competition/Ultracycling, Randonneuring and Endurance Cycling - Most Enjoyable Route to Super Randonneur?

I'm in the beginning stages of planning my training to attempt a 600k this year, with a 200, 300, and 400 along the way. I live in Bellingham, WA, so I'm interested in doing some of the rides with SIR in Washington, and some of the rides in BC. I want to know what brevets would be on everybody's "Must ride" list if for those going for Super Randonneur. Hit me!

Are you planning to spread the series out, or try to get it all in the spring series?
If I may say so, you should take in at least one of the BCR Island brevets (http://www.randonneurs.bc.ca/schedule/sch_vi.html)
Choosing a spring brevet, I'd recommend the spring 200, 300 or 600. In the summer, "must does" are the Tsunami 300 and Backroad 400 (I'm modifying both those routes for '09).
Note that the shedule will soon have a few modifications to reflect aforementioned changes and the spring 600 will revert to the Pacific Rim route (w/ variations).
Of course, you could get it all over with in a week by completing the VI Hell Week, starting on April 11, in Chemainus.:eek:
If you want a nice, comfortable set of brevets check out the Manitoba Randonneur series ... next to no hills, and just a bit of wind to deal with.
Initially, I'd say yes, I want to get it done in the Spring. If by June I am not ready for the 600, or I DNF another ride, it will give me a chance to try again in the summer. I'll check out the Island routes. Thanks!
Manitoba is a bit further than I can travel for a weekend...
