Since the thread in the Road Racing forum is/was an Epic Fail, I figured I'd start a new thread.

So yeah, new team; team meeting this morning.

-Got a set of Zipp 404's (I don't have pictures because I hate Adobe, and the card-reader isn't working. Just my luck)
-Met some of the team, at least the Ohio guys.
-Looked at some of the stats of the pro riders
-Didn't get my clothes since they're not allowed to be made yet. A jersey and bib design is in Switzerland to be checked over by the UCI before we can make any more.
-Found out the sponsors; CST Systems, and Texas Roadhouse. I guess some races will be done in Roadhouse kit; I'm not sure how exactly the arrangement will be.
-Got a prelim list of races
-Got a couple of tires and inked my contract. There were some funny parts in it in places; for example the "pista lube" which I suggested was made in the basement with a straw hat on while talking negatively about "Johnny Law"

fun, fun.

You coming to WI or IL for any races this season?

Yeah, we didn't see much of Texas Roadhouse here this summer. Adam Bergman of Minneapolis showed up for some 'cross races, and I believe a few were spotted at Superweek, but I don't recall who. :)

I think we'll see more bigger teams showing up for the Midwest Cycling Series. Bigger payouts than superweek, and if they're run like the Grafton/Sheboygan weekend will be much better organized.

Agreed.

I'll be racing in Wisconsin indefinetely; I'm not sure about Illinois though; though I'd imagine with teammates through IL, OH, and KY, that Illinois would be on the table.

Yep, we've got everyone from Roadhouse excapt for Marty Northstein (retired, now president of T-Town velodrome) and Elite Nat'l Champion Paul Martin, who joined with a local team to scale back for this year.

Here's my "interim" bike with team wheels.

Haha, I've got a chain sitting just out of frame. It's been almost a week since I broke the old one, I just haven't felt like chain-ging it.;)

And yes! The training camp is still on! I'm pretty stoked, and I think I'll come back a whole lot stronger; lots of climbing and madison/team sprint training!

Well, instead of CST Systems we decided to go with one of their product names; Black Dog.
