And I don't even know when it happened. It seems some kind person gave me a star sometime ago (I checked with the admins to make sure it wasn't a mistake) and I just got around to it.

A bit of mixed feelings about it - I appreciate it for sure but I also found out that Patentcad received one as well. I just don't know what to think about a person who would lump myself and Patentcad together... :twitchy::lol:

It happened to me one Christmas.

Believe me, the lack of ads is the gift that keeps on giving.

Welcome, comrade. :D

I don't think it was me...I have given out a lot of stars over the years (and I wish I could still do that), but I don't think it came from me.

That means that you have a secret admirer, treedude!

I got a big kick when botto was starred. ;) One of these days, I may buy him a Ti membership, just to see how he reacts. :p

I paid for my own damn star.

What the hell is this Foo welfare crap?

Oh, that kind of star. At first, I thought you might be referrng to those silly celestial certifications that some people (aka "morons") actually pay money for.

Whoever came up with the idea for the International Star Registry, apparently, as a young child, was never awarded a "gold star" for the day by their elementary school teacher; and for good reason, I suspect.

Congrats on getting your star. Personally, I'm going to hold out for the Hollywood walk, for mine.

I was thinking the same thing too, the celestial type. I'm the type that would try to claim it.

Dang, look at all the stars! Makes me want one.

What does a star get you, anyway?

The stars are no longer available....instead you get the yellow jersey.

I thought that per BF guidelines/rules/ownership/etc that (as of a few months ago) new stars would no longer be issued & were to be replaced w/ those yellow jersey things.
