Jaundice does not become me! I have hepatitis. Just got out of the hospital today. Luckily, no damage to my liver, and they expect my liver enzymes to return to normal after some time. Until then, no strenuous exercise :(

I had what I thought was a series of flu bugs but when my daughter informed me that my eyes were yellow, I finally admitted to myself that something worse was going on.

Food service people really need to wash their hands. :notamused:

Guess it's a good time of year.....I should be back on the bike by Spring.

All sympathy will be appreciated. I am bored out of my mind sitting around here. Crystal

PS Please psimet....make some snarky remark....thanks. Chipcom could chime in as well ;)

I'm just mad about Saffron, Saffron's mad about me
I'm just mad about Saffron, She's just mad about me

They call me mellow yellow, quite rightly!!

Hang in there Crystal, take solace in the fact that you'll be back, out on the bike in no time, looking over your shoulder, wondering where the heck I fell off to, (again). Also dont forget that even sick, you can outride most of the guys reading this :thumb:

Sorry to here that but you should bounce back soon. I spend a lot of time in hospitals so I had to get immunized for Hep A & B. I can eat all of the poo-tainted food I want. And now so can you! :thumb::eek:

Ouch. It's all those late night rave parties with all those other intravenious drug users which led to this. You would have been better off just riding.

Get better. Don't do anything I wouldn't do......but then again that may have gotten you in this situation. ;) :thumb:

Seriously. Get better.

smokin', by your description I would quess hep C? I had that a few years back, it sucked!! Was the weakest I have ever been, it drains every bit of strength from you, but you will get better and no long term effects. Spend lots of time sleeping, you'll need it.

Good luck and get well!

Get a prescription for World Cycling Production DVD's. Your insurance should cover or at least spring for a new jersey. :)

If it's any solace, you're not alone, Crystal. ..."It was Scut Farkus! Yellow eyes, he had yellow eyes!" (from A Christmas Story). Great movie!

Wow! I'm really sorry to hear about that, Crystal.:( Take care and get better quick.

Farkus brings me a world of comfort! Love that movie! I definitely could scare someone with this. I told my daughter at the hospital that she should be sure to stick around since it might be possible that I'd turn another color and she wouldn't want to miss it.

You know .....I never considered the yellow connection with a possible cycling improvement. If a fortune teller read my yellow hand, might she surmise a cycling victory of some sort!!! All the same, I love the jersey recommendations! :)
