WEEEeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEE.
What a ball I had bicycling to work and home today. It was the first real snow of the year.
I was booshing over snow-plow moguls, bouncing up onto snow piled curbs, and just having a screaming fun time of it. I left tire marks that are sure to have some people scratching their heads.
I was doing things on a bike that you could only do by accident in a car.
YaHooo, I love icebiking.

It was a great leap for bike-kind, Pete.
Man, I'm bummed. So far this year we have had 0.8 inches of snow. Yesterday the weather-guesser predicted 3-6 inches of snow for us last night and today. When I woke up this morning, there was not one flake outside. I jumped online and check the weather map...no snow anywhere in Iowa. Now they are saying less than an inch by this afternoon. Sadly, I had to leave the snow bike at home and ride the commuter in this morning.
I wonder if it is possible to go an entire winter without snow? I sure hope not.
Now you know what you missed Pete!
Yahoo - Ja - Quee!!!
I love winter, but here in Montana, we are having yet ANOTHER mild winter! This is our fourth year of consecutive drought... unprecidented since they started recording precipitation back in the late 1800's... could this be a result of the the toxins all those drivers are pumping into the air? All I know is that it better not be permanantly affecting my favorite ski hill (SNOWBOWL!!!), or they will get a seat post up their *#@%#!!!
Gavin
I ride. I fall down. I get up.
Meanwhile, I keep dancing.
We have had unseasonably cold, clear nights in San Diego County, and the Weather Wimps have been complaining:
Winter riding sounds fun. Ive done it a few times but not really hard core. Its still a few days till snow melts...
Hello and goodbye winter. The snow is alread nearly melted.
Man I wish winter was over it's May now and we had a 48hr snow storm that started on the 2nd
