I am guessing that many Americans won't have a clue what I am talking about...

I stopped by my neighbours tonight after shovelling their walks and was invited in for a little hot chocolate and caught the final episode of The Royal Canadian Air Farce...

Final.

It's hard to believe.

Although Don Ferguson said he wanted to end the show on a high note I got the feeling that the good old CBC (the same guys who lost the HNIC theme) also had a lot to do with the show going off the air after being a part of many Canadian's lives for the last 35 years.

If you saw the chicken cannon sketch you will know what I am talking about.

So for Luba, Don, Roger, Jessica, and the other cast members... I say thank you... for making us laugh for such a verylong time.

And for John Morgan... a special thanks because you made me laugh harder than most and I miss "Mike from Canmore".

I'm sure the last chicken cannon sketch will be online very shortly...

Does this mean that Doug and Bob McKenzie and SCTV will be coming back?

Yeah, we watched it. Bitter sweet I guess. To be honest, I have found their skits going downhill over the last 5 years or so.

Did you happen to catch Ron James right after on CBC? An hour long special broadcast from Winnipeg. It was actually pretty good.

I'd rather see the return of Red Green.

I used to watch Red Green and Air Farce every week, then they swapped the schedule around.

Bummer on the cancellation, good show.
