Tilapia, rice, veggies... that's what I cooked for the Mrs. last night. I had a leftover chicken breast with rice and pineapple.

I had soup and pasta with lemon sauce...good stuff.

Tonight, probably stir-fry or chicken with wild rice. Have yet to decide.

To be very technical about it, Basa is catfish from Vietnam. I believe that by Federal law, passed after lobbying from the catfish industry, only catfish raised in the USA can be called catfish. Any catfish caught or farmed outside the USA but sold here has to be called something else.

Last night: baked salmon

Tonight: gnocchi with homemade bolognese sauce that has been simmering for the last 2 hours. Also french bread and green salad. Yum.

Last night: homemade potato gnocchi with a gorgonzola sauce, salad and a glass of a nice red blend. Possibly the best $ 6 bottle of wine we have ever had.

Awesome pics. It is a lot better than my first 2009 meal which was a frozen lasanga.

1.25 lbs of New York Strip steak, rare/medium rare.

No seasoning (or veggies) needed --- dead cow blood & meat seared & broiled in an iron skillet taste just fine au natural.

After three huge holiday meals between Dec 24 and Dec 31; we're not sure when we are going to resume eating.
