Hi,

I may have the opportunity to do some training and a triathalon (at least the bike leg) alongside a blind guy from my wife's tri team. I've never ridden a tandem but have been through the "basics" posts on here to get some pointers. Is there anything in particular I should be aware of having a blind stoker? Has anyone ever ridden with a blind person?

Thanks,
Tom

it's pretty simple
talk to your stoker before the ride and ask.

Have ridden with blind/sight impaired stokers.
First of all, make sure you know how to handle a tandem properly. Get in some practice rides with blind stoker before doing the bike leg of the tri!
COMMUNICATION is the key!
