I looked into getting a Wilderbeast. Here are a few things to consider. The BOB Yak is 13.5 lbs and the Wilderbeast is 18 lbs both have the same carrying capacity of 70 lbs. Cargo area is about the same.
In my opinion the BOB has a nicer hook up. The Wilderbeast folds up and the BOB doesn't if that makes a difference for you. The Wilderbeast also has a pannier rack on it but it didn't really turn my crank if you know what I mean.
I am staying with my BOB. It has been really good to me.
