I have been on this forum for a while and have made a few posts. I picked up a 58cm Synapse through my LBS after Thanksgiving & wanted to share a picture.
I have been on the trainer each day in preparation of riding the bike outdoors come warmer weather. The bike was a gift to myself for losing some weight (at 240lbs, 6'2" at present) & getting back on two wheels (used to have a Triumph Bonneville before). This forum is a great resource for a newbie! I swapped the stock saddle for a specialized Alias...what a difference.

Most excellent. I was looking at those the other day in an LBS I happened to drive by but had never been in.

I just had a frame set powder coated and I'm going with a very similar color scheme.

Never owned a white road bike, but looking at yours...things may change. Very Nice.

Thanks for the comments folks, she rides just as good as she looks. It was 41F today and decided to take her out. My very first time riding - did 17mi at an avg speed of 13 & a cadence of 77rpm. Pretty wimpy compared to some of the ride posts I have read on the forum but I hope to do my first century ride before the year is over. The best part was that the new saddle was perfect...no aches! I am hooked.

Thats very generous of you to give yourself such a cool bike. All I got from myself was a lousy helmet. :notamused:

Very nice bike btw. :D

More proof white bikes are fast. It's not just red anymore:thumb:
